its the middle of the night. A storm rages outside (big suprise). The rain is heavy, thunder booms through your hallways. a bolt of lightning illuminates your darkened bedroom. The room begins to shake. You wake up. a scientist is shaking you " King tommy! there is something urgentwe need to bring to your attention. We just got this immage from the I. N. T. E. L satilite network you recently purchaced." he hands you a printed picture. a close up of the capitol city of the reveered emporor. I depicts a large swarm of what appears to be rioting citicens, some are horribly mutilated"we scanned the area for signs of life. Nothing aliveis in that crowd. We wondered if the problem was contained within the lands of the reveered emporor, so we checked the other kingdoms. This picture was taken of foxtonsland, minutes ago. and here is Therimoths current situation. We think its only a matter of time before we are over run by this threat" (what do you do...)

I get up, completely in the raw. I dash over to the wardrobe and gather my OD Uniform. "Right, order civilians to remain in their homes and do not let anyone in." I move out the room and in to my office. I turn on the TV Cameras. I casually sit. "I am sorry for interupting your current broadcast. There is no need to panic. All we ask is that you remain in your homes and stay off the streets. Do not let anyone in. Thank you. That is all." I then turn the cameras off with a remote and order my security to alert phase and wake the millitary.

I go out to the balcony above the assembly yard. "There is a plague amung us." I turn my body 90 degrees to the left while keeping my head facing the men. "It is origionating from The Raveered Emporer's Land." I take a few steps. "You, proud and noble soldiers, are to defend this country to the last." I stop and lean on the balcony's rail. "We have closed our borders. We are relocating your famillies to safer locations. Our wonderful nation is on the verge of panic." I raise my arms dramaticly. "No, worse. We're looking at catastrophy that will plung our nation in to a new wall street crash." I place my arms on the rail. "We will support you. You have access to some of the finest armament in the world. You have access to up-to-date technology. Now let those heritics from the Raveered Emperor RUE THE DAY HE MESSED WITH US! FOR THE GLORY OF THE KINGDOM!" I salute. All the men salute I step back. I turn and walk away. I turn to my general. "General. Organise the extraction of anyone who is not already infected by this virus and ensure no enemy soldiers or civilians enter our borders." He replies. "Yes, Sir." And walks off.

your men cheer, the noise is allmost deafening. Thunder rolls and lightning illuminates the sky. It casts a shaddow by the gates of the complex. It is slouched, its limbs are limp, its arms hang below its knees, swaying slightly, its head stares at the floor. The lightning dissapears, there is another flash another shaddow is illuminated, then another and another. They stand by the gates, its allmost like they're wating for something.

I view from my window. I go to the armoury. Pull out the TNo.84Mk.2 (Tranciliser Sniper) I take a good look. Open the window. Take aim and fire. He doesn't fall over (I assume). I take another shot. Then zoom in for a closer look. "General. Can you explain how a civilian found this complex. And more precisly, how he's not sleeping?"

"i don't know, sir," he pauses "perhaps they're wearing body amour?". there is a clash of thunder. a bolt of lightening illuminates the otherwise pitch black courtyard, revealing an increased number of civilians. all of them slouched and limp, necks bent to the floor. Waiting for some unknown event. there is a rapid series of knocks at the door.

its the scientist that woke you "I'm sorry to disturb you again King tommy, but, well take a look for your self" he hands you some more photos. They show the military bases of other nations. They all have large groups of civilians outside them, in each instance the civilians are standing in the same limp stances as the ones at your gates. "that isn't the worst of it I'm afraid" the scientist hands you several pictures of a twigsland military base. The first on is the same as the others, limp civilians waiting outside the gates. The next is just a purple-white light, you cant make anything else out. Something is different in the third photo. a large figure in black, almost med evil amour has appeared at the head of the crowd. The civilians have moved, their limp arms being dragged across the floor they appear to be running to the wall. The crowd has gotten to the wall in the next picture. The armoured figure has their hand raised towards the wall. a huge section of the wall has vanished in the next photo, the civilians are inside the complex. They are attacking the soldiers who are inside. "all of this happened within seconds of each other" the scientist tells you...

"Right, I'm re-issuing orders." I study the pictures for a second. "Civies, are a shoot on sight, only if they're wounded." I pull out a clip of reqular ammution and move over to the window, reload the weapon and fire at the leg of one. The civilian takes it without noticing. "Doctor. I have a special assignment for you." "Y-Yes. Sir?" He gulps, knowing what's comming next. "Take Charlie team and bring one in. Just one. I don't care how or even if they survive, but do it." I take my face away from the scope. "If you take him alive, see if you can have a little chat. If not. Then do a full post mortem. I think we need to know how he survived a shot to the thigh artery." "Yes sir" and he sulks off.

They are twenty foot brick walls with teflon based paint on the out side. There are ladders on the inside and a shooting platform. There are regular patrols. The patrolers are proctected but a waist high wall. There are three gates, large steel bared amd several helipads. Everything is maintained weekly.

( I was hoping you'd figure out a way, but, meh). I send them 'in' by opening the gate (it's a sideways opening gate) by about a foot then they grab one, beat it round the head and drag it away by it's feet. The gate is closed as soon as one enters, as to prevent a riot. They take it to a large, sterile lab and place it in a large, clear perspex box. They use specialized medical equipment to remove blood, flesh and bodily fluid samples and start analyzing it. The men return to the gate and are ready to shoot at sign of struggle. I go to wards the lift, to my armoury. I pull out Excalibur (Missile Launcher), my assault rifle, two pistols, a stack of Beta C-Drums, a load of pistol mags and the ammo for said mags. While I'm loading magazines the general walks in. "Sir? Anything you want me to instruct the men of?" "Yes, tell them to keep alert, do not let them in, no matter what the cost. This is a biological war, arm the men with gas masks." "Yes sir!" He turns to wards the door, places his hand on the handle, then turns back. "Sir? Is there something you know that we don't?" I look up. Mutter. "Could it... No... It's too wide spread..." I raise my voice to normal standards. "No, nothing, general." "Yes, sir." He leaves. Once I've filled my special backpack with as much ammo as possible, I head off to the underground labs to have a chat with the science teams."

(i only wanted to find out how they got in.) you send your men in via the method you mentioned in your last post. The crowd is still scilent and motionles, they dont even look up while your men walk amongst them. They grab a "civilian" and drag it towards the gate. The "civilian" next to it lifts their head up and looks directly at your men. Your men move further back towards the gate, more look up. They begin to groan, then move towards your men. The "civiians begin to pick up speed, many of them are almost running towards them. One of them leaps at the a squad member, his arms flailing aboun as he moves through the air , demonstrating an unusual ammount of speed and dexterity for someone who, moments before, had looked as though they could have been unconcious. Your men have battle on their hands.

The men open fire. They keep going towards the gate until they make it. At which point the man at the controls closes it in time.

I watch from my window. "Quarnteen him, again in a persex cage, we don't know where exactly we're dealing with." Another armed patrol escort him to a quarrenteen cage and lock him in with a doctor, who treats the wound and leaves. The medic is wearing an NBC Suit.
